BRAND GUIDE

The BLACKBOX brand.

Everything you need to represent BLACKBOX.AI consistently — logo, color, type, voice, and the UI system, on one page. Rendered live from the real brand tokens, so it's always accurate. Share this link with anyone who designs or writes for the brand.

THE ESSENCE
Precise

Tight type, hairline rules, an exact grid. Nothing decorative without a job.

Technical

Mono labels, real metrics, code you can copy. We talk to builders like builders.

Fast

The single orange accent reads as a live signal — speed, uptime, motion.

FOUNDATIONS

Logo misuse

The mark is a fixed asset. Do not redraw, restyle, or reposition it — these are the five most common mistakes.

DON'TDon't recolor the wordmark — only ink, black, or the reversed pairing.
DON'TDon't stretch or distort — keep the original proportions.
DON'TDon't add shadows, glows, or effects.
DON'TDon't rotate or tilt the lockup.
DON'TDon't place on low-contrast or busy backgrounds.
FOUNDATIONS

Color

A near-black canvas, a single orange accent, and a quiet greyscale in between. The orange is a signal, not a fill — keep it for CTAs, selection, and live state. Click any swatch to copy its hex.

Typography

Three families, four jobs. Archivo carries h1 and h2 copy headings. Darker Grotesque sets h3-and-below display and, at reading sizes, every running sentence, because paragraphs need word shapes to scan. Berkeley Mono keeps numerals and everything functional: labels, links, buttons, code, and data. Never set a paragraph in mono.

FOUNDATIONS

Voice & tone

How BLACKBOX writes. The voice matches the product — exact, technical, and quietly confident.

Lead with the number

Latency, uptime, price. Proof before adjectives — the metric is the pitch.

Terse, technical, plain

Short sentences. Concrete nouns. Write for the engineer who already knows the domain.

Confident, never hyped

No “revolutionary,” no “game-changing.” The work is the proof; we point at it.

Labels are loud, prose is calm

UI labels are UPPERCASE mono. Everything else is sentence case and calm.

DO

“12ms time-to-first-token. 200+ models. One endpoint.”

DON'T

“Our revolutionary AI platform supercharges your entire business!”

DO

“Pay for tokens, not seats.”

DON'T

“Unlock unprecedented, best-in-class synergies today.”

UI SYSTEM

Buttons
