The numbers we can show you
Performance figures are independent benchmarks by Artificial Analysis; the install count is the public VS Code Marketplace figure for the BLACKBOXAI extension.
What each team comes for
Four buyers, one platform. The lead message differs because the constraint differs.
Platform and infrastructure teams
The correct model for each task, at verified top speed. You expose only the data that each task requires.
Regulated industries
A deployment that is only yours — dedicated, isolated from every other customer, with zero data retention. We remove PII before prompts reach closed models.
Developer-led teams
The open models that your engineers use today, faster and at a lower cost — behind one OpenAI-compatible endpoint that your security team can approve.
Teams with heavy inference spend
Decrease model spend without a change to your stack. One endpoint, one bill, and routing and caching that lower the cost of the same models.
Built for high-sensitivity work
Teams in high-sensitivity industries must show where every prompt goes. The platform gives two answers: routed traffic with zero data retention, or a dedicated deployment on our GPUs, isolated to you. Each industry below names the control that matters most for it.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
The gateway enforces zero data retention and no training through provider terms and per-request retention flags, wherever the provider API supports it. SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 audits are in progress.
HEALTHCARE
HIPAA BAAs are available on request. On Enterprise, we remove PII before prompts reach a closed model.
GOVERNMENT & PUBLIC SECTOR
We run the open-weight model that you choose as your own dedicated deployment — one tenant, isolated from every other customer.
DEFENSE & NATIONAL SECURITY
Abuse monitoring and human review can be disabled — negotiated into the contract, then enforced technically.
LEGAL
Customer-managed keys (BYOK/CMK) are available on Enterprise, with zero data retention.
TECHNOLOGY & SAAS
Training opt-out is on by default, and we enforce it with the upstream providers that we route to.
No logo goes up without permission
The same standard we hold our claims to.
Many engineers at large companies use Blackbox. That is not the same as an endorsement from those companies, and we will not present it as one. Customer names, logos, and quotes go on this page only after that customer gives written permission to use them — which is why there is no logo wall here yet.
If you run Blackbox in production and are willing to talk about it, we would like to hear from you.
What we commit to
These are the commitments behind the platform. Each card names the product it belongs to — the enterprise endpoint and the Router make deliberately different promises — and they hold whether or not a customer ever appears on this page.
